Why did you choose Podiatry as your career?
I’ve always had a strong passion for healthcare and a desire to help people. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career within the medical health care field and podiatry just intrigued me. I love that in this field you can work across a variety of case load, from general care to more specialised treatments across all age groups.
What area of Podiatry do you most enjoy?
I do enjoy a wide range of podiatric care.I have a keen interest in assisting and educating patients with Diabetes. I also enjoy working in general podiatry and surgery. I am always learning and evolving in this field, which makes it exciting.Whether it's treating common general care concerns with skin and nail, heel pain, or performing surgical procedures, I find the variety of work load interesting. Assisting patients through a difficult visit is what I look forward to.
What sporting team are you passionate about?
I am originally from New Zealand, and while not necessarily having a sporting team that I follow, I’ve always sort of been passionate about the All Blacks and the incredible culture of rugby there. It’s interesting to see how biomechanics of the foot and how injuries can affect performance in sport.
If you had a foot or ankle concern, why would you book with the Undefeeted team?
I would choose to book with the Undefeeted podiatry team for my foot or ankle concern because of the team's holistic approach to patient care and achieving patient centred results. I also appreciate the diverse and inclusive environment here which makes it a welcoming space for both patients and staff.Whether it's a minor concern or something more complex, I trust that the Undefeeted podiatry team will guide you in the right direction and provide compassionate and focused care to have you back on your feet!
