More Than a Standard Pedicure

Clinical care, not a salon guess

A medical pedicure is performed by a qualified podiatrist in a clinical setting, using sterile instruments and techniques suited to your specific skin and nail condition — not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

It's a safe option for anyone, including those with diabetes or sensitive skin, and every visit starts with a proper assessment so nothing gets treated as "just" a cosmetic issue.

What We Treat

Common conditions we see in the studio

From thickened skin to fungal infections, these are some of the most common reasons people book a medical pedicure with us.

Corns & Callus

Areas of thickened skin that develop from pressure — callus on the sole, corns typically between toes, on the little toe or under the ball of the foot from altered walking patterns. Safe removal by a podiatrist is important, as home remedies aren't suitable for everyone.

Cracked Heels

Caused by dehydrated skin losing its elasticity and splitting under pressure. Most common in summer, particularly for those who wear open-back sandals that dry the skin out over time.

Plantar Warts

Painful lesions caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), often picked up barefoot in shared public spaces like pools and locker rooms. Easily confused with a corn, but needs a different treatment — correct diagnosis matters.

Tinea Pedis

Better known as Athlete's Foot — a fungal infection that develops between the toes and on the sole. Thrives in warm, moist environments like pools, bathrooms and hotel rooms, especially when barefoot.

Ingrown Toenails

Occurs when the nail or a nail spike pierces the surrounding skin, or skin grows over the nail edge. Can cause pain, redness, swelling, bleeding or pus — early treatment gives the best chance of clearing it quickly.

Why It Matters

Some foot concerns need more than a standard pedicure

Corns, cracked heels, plantar warts, fungal infections and ingrown toenails can all look like simple cosmetic issues — but they often need a trained eye to diagnose and treat safely.

Home remedies and salon tools aren't always appropriate, and treating the wrong condition the wrong way can make things worse.
